Many of our customers use software mixers such as vMix/OBS/Wirecast. RTMP MiniServer can receive signals from them, as well as send signals to them using the NDI protocol. Inside the studio, you can accept the signal using the RTMP MiniServer and send it to vMix for further production steps (add overlays, comments, etc.).
Our customers successfully use to receive RTMP streams from JVC professional camcorders GY-HM200/250, GY-HM650/660 and others equipped with streaming encoders integrated and RTMP protocol. Live video from remote locations goes into studio production with minimal latency, which is critical for remote production over IP.
